Good location
There's complimentary coffee at the lobby, which I was not aware till the day I check-out. Managed to get a cup of coffee with my bread as breakfast before I leave Sendai. Good location. It's within walking distance to Sendai Station.

Worst hotel encountered in Japan so far
Close to Sendai JR Station. Breakfast is good and the staff at breakfast corner are helpful and cheerful.
1. The room is too small especially the bathroom. The bathroom is unreasonably small that it's hard to turn around. The floor of the washroom is much higher than the floor of the room. And the bath tub is too deep that elderly people find it very difficult to get in and out. In fact, it's very dangerous for them. We have an elder over 80 years old travelling with us and she had to be very careful and anxious when using the bathroom. 2. While the room is small in Japan, it will be normally convenient but it's not the case here. There are very limited area for storage. There are limited racks to put stuff in bathroom. And there are no place to put small things like glasses around bed. And there are limited sockets in the room. 3. We were not informed or told beforehand that no staff would tidy the room if you live for more than 3 nights. No such information stated in booking.com when they sell the rooms and we were not informed when we checked in to the hotel. We came back early on first day and found the room was not tidied up even though we put "Please clean up" tag on the room door. The tag was just removed and towels and bedsheet were put on floor outside the room. Not until we complained about it, a written policy saying no clean up for staying forl more than 4 nights (and we were staying for three nights not four) were shown to us by front staff and extra fee would be charged if clean up service is needed. And the staff is rude with poker face. This is totally unacceptable. We expressed our dissatifaction about such policy and the hidden fees, the staff finally agreed that they would do cleaning and tidy up on daily basis. The experience with this hotel is just worst among our frequent visits to Japan over the past decade.

What was the highlight of Hotel Green Mark
A solid hotel that will suit almost all your needs.for a few days.
The staff are incredibly helpful here and will go out of their way to help out. The room we had was clean and well ventilated and rather spacious for price.
The only gripe I had was that the coffee was provided in the lobby *only* and none in the room.
